Day 6 Jausiers - Monte Carlo
A full-throttle Alpine assault from the highest peaks to the Mediterranean
Get ready for one of the most exhilarating stages of the entire rally. The day launches with the legendary climb to Col de la Bonette (2,802 m) — the highest paved road in France — an explosive mix of altitude, power, and pure driving pleasure. Wide open lines, fast sweepers, and dramatic lunar scenery set the tone immediately.
From the summit, the pace stays intense as the route dives into the southern Alps, chaining together some of the region’s most dynamic mountain passes: the rapid transitions of Col de la Couillole, the flowing GT-perfect climb to Col de Valberg, and the high-speed descent into the fiery red Gorges de Daluis, a natural canyon that feels like a racetrack carved into the rock.
The afternoon brings technical mastery: remote alpine roads, blind crests, and elevation changes leading to the legendary switchbacks of Col de Braus — a motorsport icon whose stacked hairpins demand precision and rhythm.
A final push over Col de Castillon delivers a spectacular descent to sea level, before rolling triumphantly into Monte-Carlo for a gourmet dinner in Starred Michelin Le Grill restaurant at the Leading Hotel of the World - 5*GL Hôtel de Paris. followed by a VIP evening.
A day built for drivers — maximum cols, maximum adrenaline, maximum Alps.
